Farm CCTV system design and install
Safeguard Systems were approached by a local farm to survey their site with a view to implementing an effective CCTV system.
The owner of the farm was concerned about a range of security threats including theft, break-ins, vandalism and livestock rustling.
Having designed and installed a range of farm CCTV and equestrian security cameras systems, the customer would be in safe hands by working with Safeguard Systems.
Farms are often targeted by criminals. Therefore, the requirement for a professionally designed and installed CCTV system is paramount. Camera placement and footage quality, particularly in low light, are essential components of a well-designed system.
Site survey and farm CCTV system recommendations
After establishing the client’s security concerns and system requirements, one of Safeguard Systems’ security technicians met with them and completed a full CCTV site survey.
The farm had multiple external areas needing protection. Several outbuildings, stables and the yard needed coverage to keep the premises and operation secure.
Safeguard Systems recommended CCTV systems comprising of:
- Multiple Bullet, Turret & PTZ Cameras
- 16 channel Hikvision Network Video Recorder
- Supply and fit new Hikvision PTZ Camera keyboard
- New Comms Cabinet
- Multiple wall-mounted CCTV poles
Farm CCTV system: The project outcome
Safeguard Systems was given a tight timeframe to install the CCTV system. The system was delivered on time and to budget.
All areas requiring protection were fully covered with high-resolution cameras, with footage viewable 24/7 via an industry-leading application. Machinery, livestock and property are now secure and protected.
This farm is now protected against a range of external security threats.
