Surveillance objectives & requirements
As a leading commercial CCTV company, Safeguard Systems was approached by the Managing Director of a regional cake factory to address their pressing security concerns.
The goal was to enhance internal and external surveillance measures effectively. Internally, we focused on mitigating health and safety risks, ensuring staff productivity, and bolstering intruder detection.
Additionally, from an external surveillance point-of-view, they needed a system aimed at combatting threats from thieves, vandals, and break-ins.

Site survey & system recommendations
Upon receiving the cake factory’s security request, our team promptly conducted an on-site visit to initiate the process and identify key security vulnerabilities and requirements.
To address the internal surveillance needs, we proposed strategically positioned IP dome cameras that offered full coverage of the factory floor, baking rooms, and other staff-occupied areas.
Lastly, we recognised the lack of external protection and recommended surveillance cameras equipped with advanced day and night vision capabilities.
Therefore, we recommended multiple bullet CCTV cameras to effectively detect and deter potential threats.
The customer was satisfied with our proposed solution and instructed Safeguard Systems to install and commission the system.
The surveillance system installation
Our dedicated team of commercial CCTV installers successfully completed the project on schedule, ensuring minimal disruption to the factory’s operations.
The system comprises seven 4MP CCTV Dome Cameras for comprehensive internal surveillance and three 4MP CCTV Bullet Cameras strategically positioned for external monitoring.
Furthermore, to provide added peace of mind, we recommended, and the customer approved a complimentary one-year parts and labour warranty.
As a result, this robust solution effectively addresses all identified security objectives, safeguarding the business against the previously mentioned hazards and threats.
Lastly, this commercial CCTV system ensures a secure environment for seamless business operations.
